St. Mary’s College is a welcoming Catholic Secondary School. As a CEIST school, we identify with the philosophy and Gospel values of the Mercy Sisters and their foundress Catherine McAuley. We are committed to carrying forward and nurturing the Mercy tradition. Our shared vision is to nurture the wellbeing and academic, spiritual and creative growth of every member of our community.
Mission Statement
St. Mary's College is a caring, vibrant and inclusive learning community and our school identity is built on the value of mutual respect. We embrace diversity and recognise that everyone is unique and has a positive contribution to make. We support, encourage, challenge, and empower our students to realise their full potential.
Our Core Values Care, Courage, and a sense of Community, guide our policies, our procedures and how we work with our staff, students and parents. These Core Values are:

Courage - we are a vibrant learning community that values the individuality and gifts of each student, where we support and empower everyone to have the courage to work hard, to flourish and grow, and be the best version of themselves.
Community- we are an inclusive learning community that takes pride in the achievements of our school, our staff and our students, where everyone is encouraged, valued and has a sense of belonging.
