Leaders of Learning - Learning Hub

Learning Hub.png

Learning hub launched in September 2021 in St. Marys College. This is a student led initiative aimed at maximising student potential and achievement. Students are empowered to become leaders of learning.

There are 11 leaders of learning this year. Seven fourth year students: – Nimisha Abraham, Melissa Santos, Brenda Amorim, Chloe Glennon, Róise Hennessy, Ava Carey and Amy O’Neill. Four fifth year students: Anna Cleary, Rachael Buggy, Anna Carpenter and Eimear O Reilly.

The leaders of learning lead this initiative in the school and promote positive learning experiences for all students. In St. Mary's College, we recognise the importance of peer leadership. The learning hub provides students with an exciting opportunity to learn how to learn. Peer learning and mentoring will be at the heart of the learning hub where students share their knowledge and skills with other students.

This initiative is at the heart of our school ethos, the learning hub is inclusive to all and provides a caring and fun environment for students to learn.
