The 1st half started with a few throw in's and good possession by St Mary’s. A good shot by number 7 Lucy O’Rourke from the right wing but blocked by a Kilcullen defender. Foul throw by the opposition. 2 saves by Brooke in goals. Goal for St. Mary’s by Zara 10 mins in. Corner for St Mary’s and a good ball by Lucy Doheny. Shot on goal but hit the crossbar and went over the bar by Aoife Hand. 2 more good saves by Brooke and the first half ends with the score at 1-0.
Second half starts and St. Mary’s hold possession with multiple crosses in front of the goal. Amazing shot from number 7 Lucy but saved by the Kilcullen goalkeeper. Substitution goalkeeper for St.Mary’s, Brooke swapped for Orla. Another great shot from Aoife Hand but saved by the goalkeeper again. Shot on goal by Lucy Doheny but hit the post and back out again. Another shot on goal by Lucy Doheny but went over the bar.
Game ends with a win for St.Mary’s
