Well done to St Mary's College who defeated Cross and Passion College 6:2. Both teams played extremely well in a very intense match. The most goals were scored by Aoife O’Carroll. In the first half, St Mary's had great defence from Aoife O’Carroll, Erin Killian, Sophie Doheny and Brooke Taaffe in goals who saved several goal attempts from Cross and Passion. 3 Goals were scored in the first half by Erin Killian, Aoife O’Carroll and Eppie Kehoe

In the second half, 3 more goals were scored from Brooke Taaffe, Aoife O’Carroll, and Zahra Shommo. St Mary's also had some excellent tackling from Clodagh Grimes, Grace Walsh and Aine Kavanagh. Cora O’Connor was in goals for the second half and played really well and was equal to any shot Cross and passion took at her. Cross and Passion made a comeback in the second half and scored two goals

Well done to Mr. O’Malley and all the girls who played a great match!
