St Mary's Senior Camogie team made it three wins out of three today to finish top of their group in the Dublin Senior A Camogie. They beat a strong and very mobile Scoil Caitriona team on a scoreline of 4-9 to 3-5 to send themselves into the semi finals. The team showed a lot of character after going 5 points down in the first half to drawing level before the half time whistle. Excellent defensive performances from Laura Friel and Eva Lynch were key to this comeback. The second half was all St Mary's with our forwards to the fore, in particular Sive Byrne, Sara Carroll, Aoife McDermott and Roisin Roche. Roisin finished the game with a total of 2-3 and Aoife Mc scoring a goal direct from a sideline ball were the match highlights.
