Hard luck to the u16B team who lost the Leinster Final today. The team had a great start to their day beating Killina of Offaly. Both Amy Lewis and Eve McGettrick won their singles games by 15 points. Lucy Johnston played next winning her singles 30-13. Sarah Byrne played very well and in the end lost her singles 30-23. Amy and Eve were first to play heir doubles and won 30-14. Next up, Lucy and Sarah won their doubles 30-22. The girls went on to play Kilkenny College in their final group game. Amy and Lucy did very well to win their singles matches. Eve and Sarah played very well but were up against strong opposition on the day. Amy and Eve gave their all in their doubles game winning 30-23. Unfortunately, Sarah and Lucy lost their doubles by 15 aces. It came down to points in the end with Kilkenny College winning by 9 points. Well done to all the girls on a great day of Badminton. The girls did extremely well to get that for.
