Badminton: Congratulations to the u16A team who beat Our Lady’s Terenure today in the Dublin Final. The girls played extremely well in singles matches and there was nothing between the teams. Neasa Flynn 20-30, Yen Lin Yip 25-30, Emma Williams 30-25 and Grace Moloney 30-11. The doubles matches proved how important a strong team is with Neasa and Yen Lin getting 25 points against the number one player in Ireland (Sophia Noble) and Emma and Grace did brilliantly, only allowing the Terenure players to score 11 points. The girls gave it their all and never gave up. Both teams won 3 matches each with St Mary’s crowned champions in the end winning by 158 points to 137.
