Niamh O’Carroll has a strong start working wonders in defence. Michelle Buggy with some good goalkeeping preventing an early goal. Good ball in from Sophie Weir and Aobhinn O’ Sullivan with a good block. Shortly followed there was almost a goal score with good team work from Sophie, Isabelle Purcell and Emma O Donnell which resulted in a short corner that unfortunately went wide, hard luck!
Juliet Crowley-Smyth begins the second half with great pressure to prevent a goal. Despite St. Mary’s best defence efforts Temple Carrig sneak in a goal 5mins into second half. Not long after there is an unlucky miss from Isabelle Purcell. Good clearance from Niamh O’Carroll in defence. Cara Cooke with a good attempt on goal which results in a long corner but no result hard luck girls! Temple Carrig number 16 with a disallowed goal as it was outside the D. Super play from Aislinn Crotty and Juliette Crowley-Smyth working the ball down the pitch for Aoibhinn to score a fantastic goal from an unreal pass from Juliette! Michelle finishes the game with some excellent saves to prevent goals! The final score was a draw at 1-1.
