St Mary's College

rita 2018a.jpgI would like to warmly welcome all visitors to our website. As a Mercy school and a member of CEIST (Catholic Education an Irish Schools Trust), we provide a holistic education within the Catholic tradition and our vision is to promote a compassionate and just society modeled by the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. We strive to support and nourish the lives of the people who are at the heart of our schools – students, staff and parents. Our positive, pastoral and supportive learning environment encourages each girl to fulfill her personal, social and academic potential. We offer a very broad curriculum and our staff is committed to the development, motivation and personal welfare of each student.

Catherine McAuley, foundress of the Sisters of Mercy, worked for and with women to make a difference. We at St. Mary’s College proudly continue this tradition and work to enable and empower our students to grow and mature into young women who will achieve their full potential and go out into the world to live meaningful and purposeful lives.

I hope that our website gives you a sense of the learning experiences of our students through the vast range of curricular and extra-curricular activities which take place in our school community.
