The Parents’ Association is a body of parents and guardians of pupils attending St Mary’s College. Their role is to work with the Principal, Deputy Principals', Teachers and Board of Management to promote the educational and general welfare of the pupils of the school.

The Association holds its Annual General Meeting at the start of the school academic year and the election of the Parents’ Council takes place at this meeting.

The Council is involved in a number of activities during the year including consultation on policies, assisting the guidance department with Mock Interviews for Fifth Year students, assisting Year Heads, Religion Department and senior management team with the Sixth Year Graduation, arranging talks of interest to parents and guardians, supervision of Saturday morning study for Sixth Year students and fundraising.
